Hamilton Model 23 — Built to Time the Mission
Fully restored by our in-house watchmakers in the U.S. The hands remain faithful to their era by day, with newly added luminescence for visibility in low light.
Produced during World War II, the Hamilton Model 23 chronograph served U.S. Army Air Forces navigators, helping measure the critical intervals on which aerial navigation depended.
Its bold black dial places legibility first: contrasting white numerals, a central chronograph seconds hand, a 30-minute recorder, and a separate running-seconds display. Beneath it, a 19-jewel mechanical movement brings together everyday timekeeping and the precise measurement of elapsed time.
Every detail reflects its purpose. Every glance recalls an era when navigation depended on instruments, calculations, and the skill of the crew.
An enduring piece of American watchmaking—and a tangible connection to the men who navigated the skies.
