For over 20 years, custom watchmaking has been part of Bernhardt Watch Company's DNA. Whether you’re envisioning something entirely original or simply want your logo on a customized dial, we tailor the process to you.

We’re here to bring your vision to life—seamlessly, thoughtfully, and with the uncompromising quality that defines every Bernhardt timepiece.

Our Process

Step 1

Initial DESIGN

We guide you through every step of designing your custom timepiece. We’ll work together to shape the design—refining it along the way until it’s exactly right.

STEP 2

Final Design, Approval & Ordering

We refine the design to ensure it aligns with sound manufacturing processes, then provide detailed 2D renderings of your watch—front and back. There’s still room to make adjustments at this stage. Once everything meets your expectations, we’ll ask for your approval to proceed.

With an approved rendering, all that’s needed to place your order is a 50% deposit.

Step 3

Manufacturing, Assembly & Testing

We work with our trusted network of manufacturers (including in house manufacture) to bring your design from a 2D rendering to a finished, wearable timepiece. Final assembly, regulation, and quality assurance is typically completed here in the United States by our in-house watchmakers.

Each watch is rigorously tested for accuracy, functionality, and water resistance.

Step 4

Delivery & Warranty

We offer several delivery options. The fastest is direct shipment to your business or organization. We’re also happy to deliver orders in person as it allows us to size each watch on-site.

Each Bernhardt timepiece is backed by a 2-year warranty. Should anything arise, our team is here to ensure you remain proud of the timepiece on your wrist and the company behind it.

I have an idea for a watch. How many do I need to order?

Minimum order quantity is one timepiece. However, at standard pricing, typically around 25 pieces. For those looking to develop something unique, we also offer one-off prototype production for an additional cost.

I want to create my own watch brand. Will you help with that?

Yes! We have helped bring numerous watch brands to life. We can guide you through the process—from design and prototyping to production and beyond.

What components can I customize?

Most clients choose to customize the dial, hands, and caseback. For those who want to go further, we can tailor virtually every aspect of the watch—straps, clasps, case design, and more. Share your vision with us, and we’ll guide you through the possibilities to create something truly your own.

What is a custom dial?

Your dial can be designed to reflect virtually anything you have in mind. You can typically customize the color, indices, branding, text, and even the type and placement of lume for low-light visibility.

How long will it take to receive my custom order?

Estimated delivery times vary based on the scope of your order. For in-stock models, delivery is typically around three months from the order date. Larger orders or those requiring new case production generally have a timeline closer to six months.
