MidnightThe Return of a Legend

Twenty years ago, the Binnacle Diver set the course for Bernhardt Watch Company—establishing a legacy built on quality, craftsmanship, and adventure. Now, this iconic tool watch returns, re-engineered for greater durability, precision, and everyday wear, while staying true to the spirit that started it all.
Refined, capable, and purpose-built, the new Binnacle Diver honors its origins while embracing modern engineering.

Refined Case. Serious Capability.
The Binnacle Diver features a refined 41mm stainless steel case with polished accents and a sleek 11mm profile—including the sapphire crystal. Despite its slim proportions, it delivers a professional-grade 300 meters of water resistance, an upgrade from the previous 200M rating.
This balance of wearability and performance makes the Binnacle Diver equally at home under a cuff or beneath the surface.

Engineered From the Inside Out
Assembled in the USA, the Binnacle Diver is powered by the Miyota 9039 automatic movement. Each movement is hand-regulated in-house to an accuracy of ±5 seconds per day, ensuring dependable performance you can trust.
The new sandwich dial adds dimensional depth while improving legibility, and is upgraded with Grade A Super-LumiNova BGW9 for exceptional visibility in low-light and underwater conditions.
Built to Wear. Built to Last.
The redesigned bracelet enhances comfort and functionality with case-embedded end links for a seamless fit. A built-in, on-the-go micro-adjustment clasp allows instant sizing without tools, adapting effortlessly throughout the day.
Whether exploring the ocean or navigating daily life, the Binnacle Diver is a testament to relentless craftsmanship, modern engineering, and timeless design.

Beautiful watch and fits well on my 7.5 inch wrist. Best christmas present I have received in a long time.
I've always wanted to pick up a Bernhardt because they're in my home state. But I have dozens of watches already, including some high end pieces, and I worried it wouldn't get any wrist time. Well, this watch is special (anniversary), comfortable on the wrist, and eminently readable and I've reached for it more than I thought I would. Banger piece.
Cool watch with my favorite feature, an open caseback displaying a Swiss movement
Having owned several Bernhardt watches, I have come to expect immense quality and value from the brand. The 20th anniversary Binnacle diver sets a new benchmark for both. From a design standpoint, the watch simultaneously achieves an innovative and yet still timeless appeal. Functionally, the watch is built to incredible specs for the price. In my opinion, the best way the describe the watch is being abundantly capable while still being subtly refined. The best of both worlds.
A nice watch that looks good on a variety of batch straps. Dial is a blue - verging on teal? - with a nice sunray. The orange seconds hand, with is what sold me on this color way, is a nice contrast with the rest. However, the silver framing of the dial markers does subtract from the legibility these under certain lighting - direct sunlight - conditions, thought not of the ability to tell time. The watch is well regulated (mine runs at +4-5 sec/day over ~15 days of wear during the day)The lume is good (though not stellar) but the photo (rendering?) of the lume may be misleading, at least on mine the lume on the hands is noticeably stronger than on the dial/bezel which are well matched. The bracelet is nicely done and easily resized given a right size (micro) screwdriver and a little patience (and a bracelet block helps there) and the ‘on the fly’ adjust works well. Wearing the watch on the bracelet does make the ‘package’ noticeably heavier on the wrist (as expected) which is why I’m not a fan of solid bracelets in general. However, the quick release makes it easy to change out the bracelet for other straps. It pairs particularly well with an Octopod Athena strap with almost matches the color of the dial and wears well on a (thin) milanese strap.
