Description
Introducing Captain, by Bernhardt
The Captain is Bernhardt’s refined dress watch: slim, polished, automatic, and built around beautifully textured guilloché dials. The new collection launches in three references:
- Fog: Silver Guilloché with Heat-Anodized Blue Hands
- Cove: Blue Guilloché in Stainless Steel
- Cypress: Green Guilloché in Titanium Nitride Rose Gold PVD
Each Captain features a 38mm case, sapphire crystal, applied numerals, a premium U.S.-made leather strap, and the Miyota 9039 automatic movement, regulated in-house by Bernhardt.
At just 9.55mm thick with a compact 45mm lug-to-lug, Captain was designed around proportion. It wears cleanly under a cuff, sits comfortably across a wide range of wrists, and brings enough polish for dress occasions while remaining easy to wear every day.

- Fog: Silver Guilloché with Heat-Anodized Blue Hands

- Cypress: Green Guilloché in Titanium Nitride Rose Gold PVD
Each Captain features a 38mm case, sapphire crystal, applied numerals, a premium U.S.-made leather strap, and the Miyota 9039 automatic movement, regulated in-house by Bernhardt.
At just 9.55mm thick with a compact 45mm lug-to-lug, Captain was designed around proportion. It wears cleanly under a cuff, sits comfortably across a wide range of wrists, and brings enough polish for dress occasions while remaining easy to wear every day.
Guilloché With Depth
The heart of Captain is the dial.
Each automatic model features a deeply textured guilloché dial designed to shift with the light. In direct light, the pattern comes alive with movement, reflection, and tonal variation. In softer light, the watch becomes more restrained and formal.
The Silver Guilloché reference pairs a bright, classic dial with heat-anodized blue hands.
The Blue Guilloché reference gives the collection a richer, morecontemporary look.
The Green Guilloché Rose Gold PVD reference brings warmth, contrast, and a more luxurious presence.
Each dial is finished with applied numerals inspired by classic
dress-watch typography, carefully positioned for balance and legibility.
A Study in Proportion
The 38mm case gives the watch a classic dress profile. The 9.55mm thickness keeps it slim and elegant. The 45mm lug-to-lug helps it sit naturally on the wrist. The 20mm lug width gives it balance and presence.
The result is a watch that feels refined, comfortable, and quietly
substantial.
Thin, Wearable, Mechanical
Captain is powered by the Miyota 9039 automatic movement, chosen for its slim architecture, reliability, and no-date layout.
Each watch is regulated in-house by Bernhardt and built to be worn, not hidden away.
Built To Be Worn
Captain has the elegance of a dress watch, but it was designed for real use.
Each watch features a sapphire crystal, 5 ATM water resistance, polished case finishing, and a premium U.S.-made leather strap.
It’s the kind of watch that works with a jacket, a shirt sleeve, or
everyday wear.
