A True GMT Built for Real Terrain

The Outpost GMT was shaped by the landscapes we know best—the Appalachian Trail, the Blue Ridge Parkway, and the rugged climbs of the Black Mountains in Western North Carolina. These are the ridgelines and switchbacks where we spend our weekends, and where our watches earn their keep.
Built to handle changing weather, long routes, and time zones that shift as quickly as the terrain, the Outpost GMT is a true tool watch designed for real movement.
This is a limited edition of 100 pieces.

A Dial That Reveals the Mountains
In daylight, the Outpost GMT features a clean white dial with high-contrast black indices and hands for instant legibility. Look closer and a subtle texture begins to emerge across the surface—quiet & restrained.
Designed to remain clear and functional at a glance, the dial reflects the simplicity and clarity required on the trail.

A Hidden Landscape After Dark
When darkness falls, or when charged under UV, the full-lume BGW9 dial ignites. The daytime texture resolves into the silhouette of a mountain range hidden within the dial, revealing a landscape only visible at night.
It is our first fully luminous dial and the first to incorporate a nighttime-only mountain reveal. The color-matched shaft of the GMT hand enhances the effect, creating the impression of a floating arrow riding above the terrain.
Supporting the Trails That Inspire Us
The landscapes that shaped the Outpost GMT are maintained by dedicated volunteers who work year-round to protect and preserve the trails throughout Western North Carolina.
Following Hurricane Helene, large sections of these routes were temporarily closed. Thanks to the ongoing efforts of the North Carolina High Peaks Trail Association, which maintains more than 60 miles of trails in the Black Mountains and serves as the Friends group of Mount Mitchell State Park, the vast majority have since reopened.
To support that stewardship, a portion of proceeds from each Outpost GMT is donated to the North Carolina High Peaks Trail Association to assist with trail maintenance and preservation of the Black Mountains.
